NOVOXY^® 9000 Series Epoxy: a low color, UV resistant epoxy with superior hardness (Shore D 84), easy application, excellent clarity, and faster return to service than competitors. It is available in benzyl alcohol free and nonyl-phenol free versions. NOVOC^® epoxy resins have been used in flooring, tabletops, decoupage and other coatings.

NOVOC^® 600 Foam System: a closed-cell, moisture-resistant, rigid, elastomeric foam suitable for use in cores and sandwiches. Its superior properties could offer higher performance at lower density than typical urethane foams.

NOVORTIC^® 200 Adhesive: a side by side, two-component, UV stable, chemical-resistant adhesive with 100% solids and excellent weatherability. It has been used in the new Ebola labs at the National Institutes of Health, numerous university labs and the new training facility for a professional football team.

Andara, LLC has manufactured styrene-free resins for use in coatings, composites and other applications for over 20 years. NOVOC^® resins contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and are non-flammable and low odor while maintaining superior performance. Our resins can be used in a wide variety of molding processes and with a number of different reinforcements including fillers and aggregates, fiberglass, carbon and aramid fibers. Our products are also used to coat many surfaces where durability, aesthetics and solvent free application are desired.

NOVOC^® unsaturated polyesters and vinyl ester resins are used for a wide variety of applications. These include marine (above and below the waterline), architectural, transportation and infrastructure. Our resins are often chosen over typical styrene containing resins due to superior weathering and strengths. NOVOC^® resins are also used for advanced composites for manufacturing and medical applications where excellent properties with carbon fiber and peroxide cure are advantageous.

NOVOC^® vinyl ester resins demonstrate excellent adhesion to carbon fiber allowing fabricators to achieve epoxy properties with the advantages of a peroxide cure. We have systems suitable for out-of-autoclave production and capable of producing parts in thicknesses from 0.125 inches up over one inch in cross section.

NOVOC^® resins offer superior mechanical properties when compared with typical styrene containing resins. They have much higher HDT and Tg, higher elongation and greater toughness and strength as well as lower inherent shrink and much better weathering due to superior hydrolytic and UV resistance. Our 100% solids systems require no special permitting for use and are non-hazardous for shipping.

Andara produces a wide variety of high performance no-VOC coatings and sealers including NOVORTIC^® urethane, NOVOXY^® epoxy and NOVOC^® vinyl ester products. We formulate aspartic and moisture cure urethane systems as well as epoxies for weather resistance and food contact, and UV curable coatings for floors and industrial uses.
